The standard for high-altitude expeditions, these boots are lightweight, waterproof and feature an integrated thermal system.The PHANTOM 8000 THERMIC HD is the undisputed benchmark in technical footwear for high-altitude expeditions. Designed for climbing peaks over 8,000 metres, as well as for Arctic traverses and in extremely cold conditions, this shoe strikes an exceptional balance between lightness, low volume, precise fit and maximum freedom of movement.The PHANTOM 8000 THERMIC HD has been developed in close collaboration with legendary mountaineer and Scarpa ambassador Nirmal Purja. They were tested during the first winter ascent of K2. These mountaineering boots are made in Asolo, Italy.

The 8000 rubber, made of S-TECH Schoaller, an environmentally friendly material certified by BluesignTM and PFC-free, ensures total waterproofness thanks to the YKK® zipper and the thermally welded reflective tape. The thermal system integrated into the shank and sole includes a 3-mode switch, two power packs with connector and charging cable, as well as a pair of additional heated insoles.
